I created Build From Abroad because distance can turn an ordinary business decision into an expensive leap of faith.

Too many thoughtful Nigerians abroad are expected to choose an idea, trust a vendor or release money based on enthusiasm and family promises. The problem is rarely a lack of ambition. It is a lack of structure, evidence and clear control.

Build From Abroad turns that uncertainty into practical steps: test the idea, understand the numbers, check the people involved and create a business that can operate without becoming your permanent emergency.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Business Enterprise from the University of Buckingham, a PGCE in Economics, Business and Enterprise from the University of London’s Institute of Education, and an MSc in International Public Policy from UCL.

My career has spanned business analysis, public-sector consulting, teaching Business Studies through Teach First’s Leadership Development Programme, and professional roles in risk management, insurance and financial crime. I am also the founder of Bright Bridge and Conceptbox Consulting.

Build From Abroad is also shaped by firsthand experience. I moved from the UK to Morocco and then Nigeria believing that determination and trusted contacts would be enough. I learned that relationships cannot replace evidence, systems and accountability.
